REMOVING STICKERS

Removing our stickers is just as easy and applying them. This is because we use quality materials so they remove when you want them to and not before.
If you have any problem picking the edges of the sticker up try using some heat (a hair dryer or an industrial heat gun works a treat).
Spread heat over the entire surface and then give it a go.
This will make the material softer and will de-activate the glue.
If you find that there are traces of glue left on the substrate use some citrus juice or methylated spirits. Stickers will be ruined once removed.

WET APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Ensure the surface that the decal is going to be applied to is clean of dirt, grime or any other residue. Clean the surface with methylated spirits (non oil based), glass cleaner, or soapy water. Wipe surface with a soft cloth until completely dry and free of oil, grease and dirt. Have the decal faced down and starting on one of the corners remove the backing paper slowly. Do not touch the adhesive side of the decal when doing this. Thoroughly spray the adhesive side of the decal and the surface where the decal is to be applied. Do this with a spray bottle with 96% water and 4% liquid soap. Do not allow either surface to dry. If need be apply more solution where needed, Carefully position the decal to the surface. The application solution will allow you to move the decal around easily without it sticking.

(NOTE: if decal starts to becomes difficult or hard to move apply more solution).

Once correctly positioned. Squeegee the surface of the decal to remove any trapped air and water.

YOU REQUIRE A SOFT EDGED DECAL APPLICATOR TO DO THIS.

Starting from the centre push all the trapped air and water to the edges of the decal.
NOTE: Always work from the centre of the decal out, in one direction.
Do not squeegee in a backwards and forwards motion or in opposite directions.
Once positioned and squeegeed, squirt the application paper with the water/soap solution. Rub it in with your hand and leave to dry for 5-20 minutes depending on air temperature.
DO NOT APPLY IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT (33c - 44c)
DO NOT APPLY ON A WINDY DAY

DRY APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

The Idea behind applying stickers without bubbles is quite simple.
Push all the air out! Using a squeegee work in one direction or from the centre out. Do not use a backward and forth motion as this will trap air under the decal of the surface. With the growth of media technology their is now a 3M product called "comply". This is used for vehicle wraps and any contour work. It has little air tunnels which let the air escape giving you a bubble free sticker with great ease. If your worried about bubbles ask us for a quote for a comply material by 3M. Comes in computer cut and digital media.

USING THE HINGING METHOD
 - 2 People Recommended
This method is great for applying larger stickers.

Place sticker on the window or substrate and place marks where you would like the sticker to be placed.

Line up Sticker on measuring marks.
Apply a high quality 2 inch masking tape down the middle of the sticker from top to bottom so that the sticker is held in place.
Starting at one end of the sticker and fold it to the masking tape. Now peel back the backing paper while holding the sticker.
Once the stickers is near the masking tape cut or tear the backing paper.
Holding the sticker taught away from the
substrate and move it to the application area.
Starting at the masking tape side squeegee hard towards the end.
Once this has been done you can now remove the masking tape in the center and do the same process to the other side.
